ButterBee's working hours are Monday 9-3 Wednesday 11-5 and Friday 9-3. This is by appointment only for your knowledge before booking. 

Once you arrive, if you are a new client than you'll sign a waiver where your ID is necessary. You can fill this out in the lobby. If you are a returning client you can also wait in the lobby, you won't have to fill out waiver again. Please do not cross the partition, wait to be invited.

ButterBee calendar opens a few months ahead of time for booking. Usually near last Sunday of the month. Social Media will announce exactly when. Appointments do book quickly so be aware and set your reminders. When nothing is available calendar is closed at that time. 

ButtterBee takes pride in using our vision and description and designing a piece specifically for you. You do not need to have an exact design or know exactly what you want to book a tattoo. 

Once you've booked a tattoo you will receive a confirmation email. That is the email to respond to with any and all ideas you have for what you're wanting. You can send pictures of what you do and don't like. This is the most important part of the process. You do not usually get a response from me with that email. It also explains that you will not see the design until the day of your appointment, so again, send me everything you want me to know for your tattoo design. 

When booking a tattoo you are making a commitment that you will follow through. The deposit is non refundable assuring you will take your appointment time slot seriously. ButterBee uses her own discretion if a refund is ever given. 

In the scenario of needing to reschedule your appointment, it must be done 48 hours before appointment. Within that first week of reschedule, you must have another date scheduled. If this can't be done, then it is a cancellation. There can only be one reschedule. 

You must reach out within 6 months of tattoo to inquire about a touch up. Please email a picture of what's needed and you'll be added to a list to be booked for a touch up. Hands and fingers do not get touchups, and must be booked as a minimal tattoo again. 

Cash is preferred the day of the appointment. You will receive an email before your appointment giving you final details and how much you still owe in your appointment. Venmo or CC can be used but there is a 4% fee that has to be applied. 

For those that want to know, tip is appreciated but not expected. I personally leave a 10%-15% tip for my artists. 

I do not work with numbing cream. If you have applied numbing cream then your appointment will be forfeited. Numbing cream changes the texture of your skin, effecting it in a way that I am not familiar with, causing damage to your skin and tattoo.

If you have a vacation coming up

- it takes a minimum of 4 weeks to heal your tattoo, many times it can take longer. You can not expose your tattoo to sun, sunscreen, and water. 

Always come hydrated. It is best to start drinking a gallon of water 2-3 days before your appointment. If your have extremely dry skin, try exfoliating the morning of. Make sure you've had a solid meal before your appointment. Bring a liquid IV or a gatorade with you. Bring a protein bar or shake as well. Bring some kind of sugar with you also. We take a 20 min food break in the 6 Hr sessions.
